Alaska’s Investment Community

The Alaska investment community, like the Alaska business community, includes many components focused on different sectors.  For example the Alaska Investor Network (“AIN” – an unincorporated association of accredited investors) focuses mostly on the “startup” community and cooperates closely with The 49th State Angel Fund and its partner investment funds.  At a higher level, we have “mezzanine” investors and lenders – in this category – Pt Capital and numerous Native and village corporations.  And, of course, we have traditional banking and institutional lenders.
